I'm here at Future of Web Apps in London, and I've been listening to a lot of great talks.

42tales.com is just a hobby. Something that I do in my spare time. But I realise that there's a lot missing on the site. So far my main focus has been the tech stuf, but I think I need to spend more time focusing on the interface -- making the easier to use, and making more room for a community to grow.

I think the first thing on the todo list will be to implement a forum where people (including me) can discuss the features of the site.

The next thing, or maybe I will do this first, is to add support for OpenID. It seems like al the other sites are doing it, and OpenID is a great idea :-)

Some other tings I've thinking about includes a auto-save function for the editor. I don't know if it's only me who can't control my browser, but I keep reloading the page, making the content disapear :-(

I think I have a cool podcast feature, and a nice player, but no one uses it ... maybe I need to rethink the interface.

And finally I've been thinking about opening the CVS-repository allowing others to grab the source, make changes, set up their own sites.

I've added language support to 42tales.com. Currently it only applies for the weblog, and not the admin interface. But support for multiple languages in the admin interface is on the way ... :-)

I've just added support for the users to edit the html of their template. Be aware, this is an advanced feature, and requires som HTML skills.

It's posible to have as many templates as you would like, but you can only have one active at the time. 

When you post a new topic, 42tales.com will automatically ping bloglines, blo.gs, weblogs.com and technorati :)

I've just added coolblog.net to 42tales.com. Now you can have both foo.42tales.com og foo.coolblog.net :-)

I've just added a check for "valid" URLs when posting a comment. I've noticed that some people don't know if they should use http:// og not in the URL. So now 42tales adds a http:// if it's not there...
